loving you hasn't been terrifying or scary like i thought it would be. it's weird because after everything my heart has gone through - i thought i would be jumping into an ocean without knowing how to swim when i fell for you. but you showed me that love doesn't have to make afraid. you showed me how to soft others can be to your heart when they know how to treat it. you showed me that words can be actions and some actions change your life for better without you having any idea that it was going to happen. because loving you was never part of the plan, but it happened anyway. and it has been one heck of an adventure.i've realised now how beautiful love can be when it's healthy and good for you. you showed me that love doesn't have to break your heart. love doesn't have to hurt you. love doesn't have to be uncomfortable or messy. because you showed me how beautiful love is when you're with the right person.
